Dear SO pilots! A few months ago SO department of Russian Federation and Kazakhstan MCD began to operate after a long pause, so we welcome everyone to join our first SO event of the year “Open Sky”!

18th March at 15z-18z in Kubinka will be a fly-in of military aircrafts from all around the globe. So we invite everyone to join us on a military-transport/business jet/jet fighter aircraft (formation flight) to transport an important cargo or heads of states under military control! During the event you will have possibility to present yourself by low pass at height of 600m above the runway, to perform it you will have to advice approach controller about the intention to do so.

For security reasons in Moscow FIR an one AWACS and a six jet fighters will be in operation, which will depart form Ivanovo-Severny(XUDI) to escort the participants. Pilot registration will be held in the event topic on international IVAO forum and XR division. After groups will be formed, XR-SOC will contact pilots and will give all necessary information.
